Connect your VeSync devices with Amazon Echo
Please make sure you have a VeSync account before you connect to Amazon Echo.
Step 1: Sign in to VeSync
Sign in to VeSync and make sure your account is verified. Your email address should appear if you’re logged in.
Step 2: Set unique device names
Give each device a unique name, such as “office lamp” or “living room fan”. Avoid using similar-sounding names like “lamp 1”, “lamp 2”, etc. Without unique names, you will find it challenging to use voice control.
Step 3: Go to the “Smart Home” section of your Alexa app
Open your Alexa app, tap the menu icon, and look for “Smart Home”.
Step 4: Tap on “Get More Smart Home Skills”
Step 5: Search for “VeSync”, and tap to enable skill
Step 6: Sign in to your VeSync account
Enter your VeSync account information and tap “Authorize” to connect to Alexa.
Step 7: Discover your devices
Tap “Discover Devices”. Alexa will search for your VeSync devices.
You can also find “Discover Devices” on the Smart Home page.
Step 8: Control your devices using Alexa
You should see all your remote control-enabled devices on your Smart Home page. For example, if you want Alexa to turn on your bedroom lamp, simply say, “Alexa, turn on bedroom lamp”.
